Many of our customers have specific questions about our cleaning services. Here are just a few of the frequently asked questions we hear at VeriClean.

General Questions

How can I get a quote?

Simply click on the “GET A QUOTE” tab at the top of the Homepage and provide information about your property and schedule. We will then contact you to offer you a quote.

Am I charged the full quoted amount even if it doesn't take that long to clean my house?

We always schedule 2 hours for a domestic clean in order for the work to be carried out to our high standards. On the odd occasion that you wouldn’t require our usual service then we would amend the charge accordingly.

Does someone have to visit my house before I can book a cleaning?

Not at all. We wouldn’t want pushy sales people coming to our house so we would never do that to you. You can get a quote and book your cleaning online. It takes about one minute.

Are cleaning supplies included?

All new customers have their house cleaned using only ECO friendly products. These are provided by us and are included in the quoted price for cleaning your property.

Please note: We always use your vacuum and mop/bucket so please be sure to have those items on-hand.

What if I'm not happy with my cleaning?

Please get in touch with us right away and we’ll make arrangements to rectify the situation. Your satisfaction is our number one priority.

Scheduling Questions

CAN I GET A SAME-DAY BOOKING?

We cannot provide same-day bookings unfortunately.

DO I HAVE TO BE HOME FOR MY CLEANING?

It’s completely up to you. If you’re not going to be home, make sure you let us know how to access your house by informing us when the cleaning is agreed.

DOES MY CLEANER ARRIVE AT THE EXACT TIME I BOOK?

Yes, most of the time. However, we must allow fluctuations due to traffic and weather circumstances. If it would be a lengthy delay then you will be contacted to let you know the ETA.

WHEN AM I CHARGED FOR THE SERVICE?

You do not pay until after the cleaning has been completed. You can either arrange to pay by cash to the member of the cleaning team that is assigned to your home or you can set up a standing order, whichever you prefer.

ARE THERE ANY COMMITMENTS OF CONTRACTS?

There are no contracts for domestic cleaning although we do require a two week notification should you decide to no longer require our cleaning services.

Cleaning Questions

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN A STANDARD CLEANING?

Basic cleaning duties include vacuuming, dusting, mopping, surface cleaning and kitchen and bathroom details, making sure all assigned areas of the home are clean, neat and tidy.

DO YOU PROVIDE THE SUPPLIES?

WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?

We offer a range of services from weekly cleaning, fortnightly cleaning to one-time cleaning and move-in and move-out cleaning. You can see the different services by visiting the front page and clicking on the “Services” button halfway down the page.

HOW MANY CLEANERS DO YOU SEND?

Only one cleaner is sent to your home. If you’re on a recurring schedule then it is peace of mind for you knowing the same cleaner will always clean your home. The only time this may change is if the cleaner falls ill or is on holiday and alternative arrangements may be made.

CAN VERICLEAN CLEANERS BE SCREENED?

Absolutely. We can have our cleaners undergo a police background check, reference checks and in-person interviews. We also require experience in residential house cleaning to work for us.
